light flurries in Bury again....will this snowmageddon never cease lolololol
never started here
-
Light snow here again, started 30 mins ago and it is getting more persistant now.
It is now the turn of the Pennines to get the snow as steady precipitation is moving from the eastern half of midlands northwards.

Is that big band coming our way?
-
I honestly cant see how we're gonna end up with snow, dry as a bone atm
-
Well looking at the NW radar i think its gameover for the oldham area
-
Whens the next proper forecast out?
-
BBC NW forecast on the website doesnt have snow past chester until 3pm! buts its already there now, forecast updated on their website at 07:34am!
-
Come on just blow it abit further north, come on you can do it
-
Just watched the updated forecast on BBC website 6:41am. Has every bit of snow in the country doing its best to avoid me
-
GFZ is much better than the bbc forecasts, but you would expect the met office to be more accurate for this country
BBC has me down for not even a drop of snow tomorrow...time will tell
-
Get ready for the next roller-coaster mood swing!! Will it be drinks all round or flying dummies and toys?
Ive got dummie in one hand and a beer in the other... bring it on
-
This has been posted before but it looks quite accurate to me.
If that happens tomorrow id be happy
-
GUYS! Play the radar sequence from an hour ago to now. That front has STOPPED. It's not moved for an hour, it's physically STUCK! Could this stay here until the arrival of the next front? Tell you, if it does, expect a RED warning from the Met Office. Amazing!
I have to agree its moved very little in the last hour
-
So this band will slowly die away or eventually get eaten by the the other band?
-
Did any actually forecast this band to still be here? its still producing snow, footpaths and roads getting a covering now
-
The current band is caused by the instability where the two competing air masses (warm to the W and cold to the E) are starting to mix together as the warm air tries to push into the cold air - this was mentioned on the NetWeather forecast yesterday i think
How can NewWeather forecast this yet BBC cant?
-
Where has this band of snow been building from all afternoon? bbc has me down as dry as a bone for next few hours yet its snowing...
-
Setting ourselves up for another downgrade later, I wouldnt get to excited we've already seen how quick these forecasts can change
-
After watchin the bbc forecast i honestly dont think I will see snow tomorrow
-
Im just gonna throw this out there... few more shifts and downgrades and some ppl could be bone dry
-
Until I see the snow falling on friday i cant/wont let myself believe this forecast, its like a wet dream.
-
Mark my words it will end up raining friday
-
Just seen the updated forecast on the bbc website. Rain for all of NW apart from the hills, thats me done for the night at least this cold spell is going to stay for the rest of the week... fingers crossed
-
snowing here but with the ground being so wet its just not sticking, although the grass and cars are getting a covering
-
Well its not sticking here, a good half an hours worth has made everything very wet which will make it difficult for anythin else to stick

Just seen the BBC forecast and they reckon we've got a good chance of some decent snowfall tonight. Anybody agree with them?
