First green pixel over my area today.

Steve, that may have been a stray yellow pixel you caught there! Nothing over here was moderate flurrys earlier nothing now...I think the winds are not favourable for S and W London now. Good luck to everybody else!

Morning. Moderate flurry in progress here heaviest so far. Looks pretty.

Game Over for this area(it was never actually on really) Even Surrey can't talk this one up for our area, good luck to those East and North of us

Really? Cool, let's hope so. Thanks for that PK
Thats ok exciting radar watching today! Hoping for a few cms here to the west of London later today.

Also - looking at the speed of the precipitation it looks like this is moving faster than thought? No? I'd say precipitation due to hit Sheffield by Midday at the very least.
Earlier than that, rain today premium has Sheffield under snow by 10:30 - 11:00,

Happy with the Cockcroft tonight, showed quite a lot of snow around Heathrow westwards lasting all tomorrow night.
-
Peter Cockroft will be on soon  :bomb:

Latest weather BBC weather forecast - central southern England and SW snow on Friday. London Eastwards will stay dry :-(
Such a shame - with all this cold air in place I for one would of wanted another snow event!
Last Saturday was good but with one snow event of the year it's not enough.
Living in south Herts I usually see more snow days then we have seen this year - be it in form of wintry showers - flurrys etc.
Been under some remarkably cold air with amazing uppers but only one snow day :-(
Even the Balkans and northern Italy look set to get another dumping tomorrow!
But St Albans is to the west of London as am I, I am expecting a dusting at least maybe 2-4cm.
-
it will coast i just washed me car and waxed it lol
Same here! Thats a sure fire way to get snow!
-
Yes being 10 or so miles west of London i'm right on the edge, last weekend wasn't great here 2-5 cm max compared to those in essex and kent, 90% of the snow was gone by Monday, would be great to have a better shot at some decent snow this time.

Latest BBC forecast and Meto website go for a snow Event Friday across Central Parts - no mention of SE :-(
Latest NAE indicates some snow for the SE.

I think the system has been delayed slightly, run this on 6 - 8 hours and I think the winds would be stronger over the south and east, NAE only goes up to 06:00 on Monday at the moment.
