  1. IMBY it doesnt really matter which direction its from, im doomed. I always thought easterlies were slightly better than NE'lys because i dont think any showers reached here in 2010 from the NE where as in the 2009 E'ly we managed about an inch.
  2. Obviously nothing here, im doomed here with showers having to cross the highest part of the pennines AND the fells.
  3. Countryfile forecast was promising even for here, showed snow showers making it right to the west coast.
  4. Surprised there isnt much snow on the western fells, only looks like a dusting above 400M, snow line will probably drop dramatically tue further inland you go.
  5. Hope this easterly comes off especially with the low heights as that will help any ppn cross the hills, rarely get anything more than 1cm but atleast its always powder snow and sunny. Sick of all this wrong side of marginal crap.
  6. Currently sleet falling and a wet ground, no sign of any snow.
  7. Extremely light sleet falling here i think, met office have us dry until 8am, major rain or should i say snow? shadow risk here like march 2013
  8. Cant even see the updated warning because the met office warning page is playing up AGAIN, but i presume that it doesnt include me so yet another one bites the dust. NEXT! Actually im just in it by the skin of my teeth.
  9. Possibly expecting a rain shadow? Same up here aswell and thats what happened in march 2013.
  10. Probably in that warning by 0.5 mile, doubt i'll see snow now, certainly not laying.
  11. Happy to be in the warning this time. Even if it snows then turns to rain and melts, beggars cant be choosers.
  12. Just too sheltered from every direction except the west but how many times do you get snow let alone significant snow from the west? Being very close to coast its almost never. We were lucky to even get 7cm in 2010 as a trough came up from around grimsby area and somehow made it here over the pennines and cumbrian fells, apart from that 2 hour snowfall we had very, very little snow. January 2013 we had 8cm from a snow to rain event so didnt even last 24 hours, March 2013 not even a dusting but south cumbria got buried down to sea level. Probably have to live here to believe how bad it is for snow.
