    Im JUST about in the MetO updated warning zone by the skin of my teeth for today and tomorrow which is a bit more promising, be nice to see snow falling.

    Witness 65mph winds on average about 10 times a year so doesnt really interest me until its forecast to be above 75mph. High tides though so might have a wander down the beach.

    I thought the charts looked good for areas above 150M and possibly lower levels so surprised to see only rain and sleet forecast for areas above 300M, doesnt make sense, possibly wind is too strong and moderating temeratures too much? But the charts look similar to Jan 1984

    Had a very short lasting dusting of snow in the early hours of 15th December, but there was about 5cm 300M ASL only 5 miles east, which only lasted a day due to heavy rain pushing through. Feel lucky to have even seen snow in this grim winter.

    About 10 minutes ago i seen the closest and loudest lightning strike of my life! It was amazing! Was that close my total field of vision went blue! Looked less than 1 mile away!
