  1. Just watched regional forecast, dry Sunday, dry Monday, and a risk of a dusting of snow on high ground on Tuesday! Nothing epic about that
  2. It's all very well looking at the models that far ahead, but we've been here before guys! So best not to assume nothing will change, because it's highly likely it will. It could be for the better but equally, could be for the worse. I'm not expert, but all it takes is that high to sink slightly, and we're left with no easterly convective showers, but cold fog!
  3. Yes, it's game over now. But hey, we'll all be back here next winter chasing the dream!!
  4. How far south mate? I can't seem to get on to the met office site. Is hammering it down here in Warminster (rain that is!)
  5. They mentioned the dreaded "snow north of the m4 corredor" on the tv a minute ago!! If only they built the damn thing in the channel
  6. Just making the most of the flakes falling now. It's the last of this cold spell, and you never know when it will happen again living in the uk. Here's to the next cold spell. Bye for now
  7. Some of those flakes earlier were like large pieces of foam you get from the sea in a storm!
  8. Where the hell are the GRITTERS!! Roads are really bad. Come on guys get out there!!!!!
  9. Massive snow flakes!!! Biggest I've ever seen! Really starting to settle now
  10. I have a feeling they have underestimated this, and some places could get plastered!
  11. It's nice to see it snowing in day light, hopefully the heavier stuff comes before it get dark!
  12. Light snow is Warminster now! Lools like its setting in and the sky is looking darker in the distance!!
  13. Light sleet/snow in Warminster, very light now though. Any ideas if Warminster is in a good position for heavier snow later?? We are on the edge of the amber warning so hopefully see at least 5cm
  14. Yes, I watched the same. He was obviously told to stand there for a while to make the report more dramatic, but made me laugh! Some of those drifts looked amazing!
  15. CORNWALL, you will fight the mild air on the beaches, fight it on lands end, fight in the hills and the streets. You must never surrender! If if that mild air comes, I know that the rest of the west country with its mighty cider drinking snow ramping army, will come to your rescue and fight of that mild air to deliver you to snow heaven victory!
  16. Fergie give us some snow, fergie fergie give us some snow. Fergie give us some snow, fergie fergie give us some snow!! One things for sure Ian, this cold spell is certainly going into Fergie time if it continues up until next week end!
  17. Just put the footy on, nice seeing the snow coming down at stamfordbridge
  18. I know a few people have mentioned this, but please feed the birds. They really do suffer in this weather. A wren for example has to eat about half it's own body weight per day to survive!
  19. Snizzle here in Warminster, wilts. Hoping it gets heavier later!
  20. I wouldn't be supprised to see that PPN further North affecting more of our region. a few snow flakes falling as I speak, nice to see!
  21. I'd love to!! I love the snow because you see grown ups finding the child within, and actually living for the moment for a change! A rare thing in the modern world with lack of time and stress!
  22. Lol , I have no idea why my above post says " If this doesn't say (if this doesn't say cockroft when referring to a bbc forecaster, I have maturity issues) Cockcroft when referring to a Bbc broadcaster u have maturity issues" !!! Lol where the hell did that come from!
