Now look at that, good job my soup stocks are high for the 12th If it could snow on the 12th that would be classic, where I am going that day is known for being bleak, windy, cold wet you name it. Pictures of my young people planting trees in snow would be great!
Thanks for your hard work JP
I thought the forum had gone which is maybe why it's been quiet here.

Jaycee, think of it this way, like the sun being over the yard arm at a particular time when you think it is apprpriate to have a drink, it will be snowing tomorrow somewhere!
See you next winter

Thick fog here overnight and this morning, made a nice change to see something a little different weather wise.
Oooo Yamkin, whern do we start getting excited????
-
Oh the rain!!!! It's chucking it down here and has been for two hours now, garden is underwater at the bottom of the garden and it's creeping up the lawn now, not normally like that in January.
Some nice looking charts for another cold snap, I wonder if we will get some more of the lovely white stuff????

Where's Ramping Yamkin when we need him
I'm involved with a tree planting task on Sunday, we have to dig a very BIG hole from solid clay, will we be clearing the snow away before digging, or should I saw trying to dig out frozen clay? I hope so, won't that be fun
-
Yamkin, Friday greetings
I heard that about the Thames Barrier earlier BLIMEY! It's been very windy here already today and my potted trees are already over best I put those into the garage tomorrow evening I think don't you? My garden can flood when it's very wet, I think I will pop the old ruler in the ground tomorrow to see just how much rain we get on Sunday, what a winter!!!!
Colder next week? Great! off to read the model thread
