Done very well for snow today, definitely won't be complaining, especially after reading this thread!
Started about 12, then maybe 3'ish, it went to sleety stuff.
Been out with the kids, perfect snow for snowballs too!

A Merry Christmas from me too everyone!
Went to Panto (Oh yes I did!) and it there was NO rain, came back, and blimey, was it raining!
Off to track Santa now the kids have given me my laptop back! :winky:

Sometimes I really don;t get the whole yuck mild thing, it doesn't make sense to me - mild is comfortable, if it's not raining - mild and dry is pleasant, so what's the deal?? Cold is not pleasant.. I'm at a loss to why people favour this in this way.
Yuk to me is rain. I just hate it. And if we aren't going to get snow/frost, I want dry days, not rain! I'm happy with mild, but at Christmas, to me it's just not right. Liam's got it right (IMO) Merry Christmas :w00t:

GFS continues to show at least some sort of cold around the first week of the new year.
A bit of week consistency but temperatures each run have certainly been below 6'C, the latest run shows a high of 3'C on the 5th of January.
Anyway, Oldham seems to be magically and mysteriously avoiding the rain; for now; as of Midnight.
I'm sure like always the noise of rain crashing on my skylight windows will wake me up before dawn!
Oh Hedgehog, you said RAIN! Naughty list for you then!
Yet another horrible day again! I'm fed up of taking the dog out and sliding in the mud. YUK!

Really dull, dreary day here in Oldham, oh of course it's raining slightly too!

My O/H very kindly woke me up at 6.30 to tell me it was snowing and like a big kid I couldn't get back to sleep!! And being such a thoughtful person, I thought I should wake the kids up too. There's nothing better than watching the kids faces when they see snow! :smilz38:

Don't say that Snowwhere!! Feb hasn't even started yet, although I know it's not looking good at all.
Very, very cold here, but great for walking with the dog. I'd be happy with this than mild and wet, which I detest!! (think I may have already mentioned that lol)
