I was 10 and the snow was half way up the bus stops in Pontypool, walking across the canal daily and my dad having breezeblocks in the back of his Morris Marina When we could finally get the car out of the garage :-)
Hope the Girls get to use the Sledge this year, :-) My youngest hasn't really experienced snow, she thought you had snow Christmas day and was really disappointed that Santa didn't deliver, hopefully she can have a late Christmas Present x
So fed up of this rain feel so sorry for the people that have been flooded. The river in Abergavenny isn't going to take much more its on the verge of flooding now. Haven't seen it this bad for a long time :-(
I have lurked in here for a few years and have never known it so quiet :-( I would be grateful for cold and dry anything but this persistent rain and gloom
I agree Blackjack you know that winter is coming when you see lots of excited posts off AndyMusic :-) last nights rain was awful I nearly got stuck in the flooding between Llanover and Cwmbran :-(

I was quite glad we didn't have much the last time as my Husband was working a 12hr night shift in Blaenavon, and he had pinched my car after he crashed his the previous week in the snow :-(
I live in Abergavenny Town too, but it feels colder than -.2.2 Brrr, the snow is still Hanging around on the Blorenge, on the positive What a gloriously Sunny Morning :-)
