  1. well the next 24/36 hours will be our last chance for snow this winter i reckon, nothing of note in fi in the models  :wallbash:  :wallbash:

yeah this evening and tonight is the last chance for this cold spell.i wouldn't go as far as all winter mind!

Big carol going for rain showers at low levels tomorrow.. Unbelievable Jeff

  2. Met Office/BBC are forecasting a wet start to the day tomorrow, and a drier interlude before light snow, heavy at times after 5pm tomorrow, and intermittently through the night. This is of course on

their 5 day forecast, but it has been consistently shown as at least light snow, and if there is a drying up period after the wet start this could be promising.

Conditions look very favourable if we get the precipitation, with below 0 dewpoints shown from the earlier 6z GFS, marginality isn't an issue, it's just hoping we get some sort of organisation towards us of precipitation.

looks decent for at least a dusting for most of us, very quiet in here lately

  3. That's good news then, as I packed the snow shovel away in the basement earlier today.

You should do fine as usual being in consett! Us at low levels and by the coast only have wintry showers to look forward to. Great for the Scottish ski centres mind , five snowy seasons in a row for them .

  4. Same here doggy, don't think our little slice of Northumberland fairs well does it!!

Not the best eh, light rain here now! Not expecting any further lying snow here this week but hope i am pleasantly surprised.

Here's hoping for a solid northerly with -10 uppers at some point in February that would deliver the goods!
