Appreciate it Edo, all your comments tonight have made me smile. I've a nephew in Edinburgh and he's thoroughly p****d off that he's got very little snow. If it's any consolation I spoke with another nephew in Shawlands, Glasgow and they've just a light dusting.......but it's still coming down in Motherwell as I type?

Heavy shower started in Motherwell at 1830, so heavy that as you look out the window you think you're imagining it. Lying very easily.

Had a look at Traffic Scotland Traffic cameras at 1230 and snow appears to be falling heavily on M77 Floak, Kingswell & Maidenhill

On Traffic Scotland Live cameras it looks like the M77 Crookfur Road & Netherplace just west of Glasgow is getting a good dumping.
