    Cairngorm are reporting 1.5-2 meters of fresh powder on the lower slopes, and more higher up

    From the cairngorm mountain website Very heavy snowfall overnight. The road from Aviemore to the mountain snow gate is passable with extreme care, but recommend winter tyres or snow chains. 65cm of snow has fallen in rothiemurchus.

    Snow lying here in snooty a bit surprised really, i expected rain. The predicted snowfall for cairngorm up to the weekend is immense. 73cms Time to wax the board up me thinks
