  1. Well I am happy its snowed constantly since 3 ish this afternoon and there is a lovely covering of snow that comes in little flakes. I went shopping just over an hour ago, I got back 40 mins ago and now both my car and the tracks I made getting on the drive way are covered.

Tesco shut their roof top car park whilst I was there - due to customer safety. The roads are slowly covering where they have gritted too.

  2. WOW :yahoo: Just got up because I could not sleep and :) Not seen snow like this all winter, when all around us have been reporting megga snow fall we have had snivvels and frosts and sleeet but this, this is amazing, totally white all over and the size of the flakes is tremendous.

I think they have turned the local power station off and the snow has taken a gross advantage :) Even the size of the flakes are like ones I have not seen in years.

Just wondering - if it's like this here in low Beeston, Nottingham, what's it like for my brother up in the heights of Sutton in Ashfield!

  3. I have just checked the weather station Temp 2.3 Dew Point 0.8, is this good for snow? both seem to have dropped in the last few minutes! :o I am a very new amateur!!!!!!!!

To every one tha thas helped me re- when it will snow, thanks, got back into the warm at around 11.30 ish to look up over my mug of coffee and see it ---SNOW its chucking it down and has been since 11.45 and we dont get TRENT STREAMERS here although I am on the bank, north side of Barton, a place called Beeston Rylands. Ground is covered and its not bed feather type its what I call drizzle but absolutely pasting it down

  6. Well I think that the - 0.89 combined with the wind chill of - 4 that we have had earlier today, made it feel colder than most of the actual cold days put together. It fair "bit" your cheeks and ears on the horse paddock today.
