    Rain so far in Brynmawr, not expecting snow till tonight.Temp is 3.6 and Dew Point is 3.4 and has climbed a degree since 12.30pm so way to warm at present!

    Living in Brynmawr at 348m ASL I usually so well with snow, not seen any lying snow since March. Not sure we are going to see any either this week looking at that map Andy. Kids are dying to go sledging lol

    We went through exactly the same situation 4 years ago, same day too. Thoughts are with you and your family. Only consolation I can give is it is only bricks and mortar. Hope all works out for you.

    The night of the blizzard the other week, about midnight a car was stuck outside my house. I went to help. I have never been so cold. The wind and snow ripepd through you. I was only out for 30 mins and was shivering for ages after. I've never felt cold like that for a long time. It was -9 outside and felt like -20.

    I love snow but tonight's forecast dismays me lol. Still very white here and i am now craving the sun and warmth. Nobody on here hates you Andy, you have been missed greatly. Your enthusiasm is infectious and long may it continue. We all agreed with you, the red warning should have been given earlier, far too many people didnt even know snow was coming.

    You are telling me Lindy, we have had big leaks in our bedroom ceilings due to snow blowing into the attic, a lot of neighbours have said the same! Have you seen the size of the snow hills at Asda Brynmawr car park, at least 12 ft high at the bottom end lol

    Around 3 inches in back garden. Front is bare on road and bone dry. Snow just blowing to sides.

    We had a red warning in South Wales in 2013. Had nearly 2ft of snow over night that night. Started as heavy rain too.

    -6.4 degrees in brynmawr. Snowing gently. Absolutely freezing. Only issue with my weather station is it's not high enough to give accurate wind direction. Def not SW lol
