Still raining heavily and has been since 11 am,temperature 4.8c (there could well be wet snow falling on top of Cheviot) barometer 1005 and rising slowly.

It started raining at 11 am and has been pouring down ever since,looks like it wont stop unti saturday AM. Temperature 6.3c,barometer 1002 and steady.

Dull and overcast but still dry,temperature 7.2c moderate East wind,barometer 1001 and steady.

It has remained dry all day (so far) with medium amouts of cloud and light winds,current temperature is 12.4c ,pressure 1002 and falling slowly.

After a day of sunshine and light snow flurries this afternoon the temperature has now dropped to 1.6c so a frost seems certain,interestingly looking eastwards, there are still large snow clouds visible-I would guess it is snowing about 6 miles from where I live.

Well just when I thought I was not going to see any snow we have had some flurries (very light) on and off since around 1pm but not enough to even wet the ground.I understand that nearer the coast they have had heavier precipitation.

Morning TWS,apart some very light rain around midnight it remained dry in Ponteland.I was up at about 4am and the temperature was down to 1.6c.

Hi Frosty,it is only 2.3c here in ponteland at the moment. -
Windy now and temp 11.7c,barometer falling,there is a heavy shower building up to the West.........One hour later shower still going on and the temperature is now 6c.
