It has been a right day here today, one or two sprinkles but nothing really to speak of. The wind has been the main feature of the day, it hs been showing above 20 mph most the time, with 44 mph gust this morning at 1100 hrs. and another one this afternoon of 43 mph at 1400 hrs. There appear to be heavy showers all around me at the present time, but still dry. The wind has just started to ease off in the past 30 minutes or so.

Our first wonderfull 2mm of rain, my water butts and garden breathed a small sigh of relief. Still a light drizzle falling and the temperature is 55.5o.
