Was it overhead? Visible Cloud-Ground or Intra-Cloud lightning will count as long as near overhead, or by a two or less mile radius, then you have had what we declare as a storm!

Checking out the radar today its the secound time in a row Paris has spawned a storm... This time it is east paris it started at and not west, but not much further. The ferries won't be running later...

Something ive noticed is that bit of rain coming from the channel islands, through southampton and portsmouth. That seems to be not dissapating as much a thought, and also Blitzortung has got a strike just off the coast for that area in the last 20 mins. Hopefully building strength to have a go at southern england, and then up towards east midlands/western east angia?

Ok, there is not much rotation in it but there is some... i think it will give out some rain and some winds and possiable hail but were still in eairly stages. This could turn intresting, winds have picked up by 1 mph not alot but it is a start. this may turn good or be a blimin wast of time....

Well, i acually do think there may be a storm fairly soon (and i hope i am right!) Because flash flood weather warning and its still hot but, its dropping in temp so i hope there could be a really good storm,rumbles and hail and even some rotation and a possiable tornado...

FINALLY we get some proper rain! 2.1mm so far and rain is moderate but steady, looks like it might get heavier tho! this should do very well for the gardens i hope! Current temp 17.5C

Edit: also, looking at the rain today radar, looks like we could have a fair bit more to come, also seeming we are covered in the meto warning for heavy rain when i last checked!

Where are you i can see the meto warning for wales and south-west england what part there are you?
