  1. Good afternoon, sorry to interrupt the discussion again but I'd like to remind you that I'm taking orders for the first batch of these prints until wednesday 8pm! (Obviously, the printed image will not have the "Chris and Jon Hayes" watermark - that's for digital theft prevention!) For order details, see my post earlier in this thread (no #183) -
  2. Hey guys, I'm pleased to announce prices! Firstly, a massive thank you for the response to this. These images will be approx 44"x11", so slightly smaller than I first mentioned. However, it makes them slightly cheaper because they can put two on one sheet of paper Now, I'm going to get these printed on proper photographic paper and will probably be sent to you rolled up in a tube, after you receive it you can do whatever you want with it! Get it framed, laminated, mounted on board, it's up to you! An easy way is to get some 3mm mount board and some photographic sticky mount stuff (not the usual sticky dots, they're too thick and the whole thing will look lumpy!) The total cost including p&p to you will be £35 per print, for as many as you want. You can of course pay more, and the extra will be added to what's already being donated (for that print) to the RNLI! If you definitely want one or more, please send an email with the subject "Netweather" to camberprintorders [at] gmail.com with the following info: - Your full name and address - How many prints you would like - Desired payment method (cash deposited to my bank account / online transfer / PayPal gift) I will email you all back with the appropriate payment info as soon as possible, but I won't be online this weekend due to the Eastbourne Extreme event. I would like payment by wednesday 21st July at 8pm, when those who have paid will be added to the first order batch! Any emails after that will still be counted, I'll do a second order at a later date. Note: The design will not be changed from what you see in this thread - that is the artwork for sale, the profits of which are going to a damn good cause.
  3. Hi again guys! Quick update on my panoramic photo - this new version will be FOR SALE, with profits going to the local RNLI station at Rye Harbour! I'm sure I don't need to explain why I chose the RNLI, given the nature of the picture and the hobby I share with friends This will be it, approximately 44"x11" each (yes, that's inches!) I will probably supply it to you rolled up in a cardboard tube, after that you're free to do whatever you want with it, be it framing, mounting on card, laminating, whatever it is! (Obviously the final print will not have the watermark, it's a preventative measure against image theft) I'm working on the price, speaking to a few printers at the moment. I will update this as soon as possible!
  4. Absolutely, what sort of stuff are you after? Send me a private message with some contact details! I can't go in the water though, the camera's not waterproof lol. The camera survived the onslaught the other day by being inside the camera bag, inside a Peter Lynn Venom bag all stuffed underneath my brother's 10.5m Ion3 which was weighed down with 3 landboards!! @ Paul Sherman - I look forward to reading it!
  5. No problem at all my friend! All I ask is that you link to my flickr photostream at http://www.flickr.co...os/chrishayes90 I'm pleased that everyone likes the image!
  6. Good morning ladies & gents... My name is Chris, I'm a kiteboarding photographer, I do a lot of my work at Camber Sands & Greatstone. I've been referred over to here by someone on a photography forum where I posted my panoramic shot of the storm cell over Camber Sands! So, here you go... about 1 minute before the massive gusts hit us. It was a steady 20mph wind, then all hell broke loose. In the blink of an eye it went up to at least 60-70mph, it was chaos. Nobody was seriously hurt, even the kitesurfers who got picked up by their kites and tossed like ragdolls Click this for an even bigger version - http://farm5.static....450430ec3_o.jpg
