  5. I got lucky this morning, with the only gap in the clouds being in the right place to catch the bottom of some faint NLC`s taken around 04.00 with them being to the NNE at around 8°. Tungsten
  6. Showing in Europe Nothing showing here yet- hoping they will move around for a morning display
  7. A few more gaps in the clouds tonight/morning to see if anythings up there
  8. Just an Observation I have been trying to associate sightings/ non-sightings to the NOAA-21 plots for most of the season, by using the 5 day full rotation/clock face method. Admittedly half heartedly due to the constant fluctuation of the cloud mass this season, also the hit and miss availability of the day to day NOAA-21 plots. The last couple of nights/mornings non-shows (apart from a very low sighting from Scotland and sightings from the high latitude countries) This had me searching the latest plot for an area of clouds which were closer to the a pole, back to the 70° latitude area`s The latest available plot is from Tue 18th
  9. Early days yet Rob N twilight starts around 23.10 clear up to 12 ° here- nowt yet
  10. With last night and tonight being at that stage of the 5 day full rotation, which has been contant for giving displays over the UK. NOAA is still showing a fluctuating mass, although this latest image are showing 'arms' of clouds down to the 60° Lat, in the relevant areas for the UK With a clearer night/ morning forecast & OSWIN showing earlier in the formation zone. OSWIN - Mesosphäre - Forschung - Leibniz-Institut für Atmosphärenphysik, Kühlungsborn WWW.IAP-KBORN.DE I cant help feeling positive about the chances of a display over night
  11. Pretty sure that they was over the uk from the off. After Sprites heads-up, I found them on the Aberdeen cam before midnight, so it was a nice surprise to see they were still there when the gaps in the clouds finally started to appear The only things i saw on the euro cams was some corking lightning strikes
  12. Had to wait until after 3am for a gap in the clouds to appear
  13. @sombody yep as well, being stalked by somebody: unless its a 'clever' new member
  14. is this now? Edit; Yes it is Aberdeen North North Webcam - Seacroft Marine Consultants WWW.SEACROFTMARINE.COM
  15. I've captured them before in early August 2020, although I had a clue because we could tell by the AIM image that they were still 'up there' Being a Solar max season and with the Sun being particularly active atm, I would be surprised to see them so late in the season. Having said that, from experience, they cant be second guessed I`ll still be on the look out though
  16. Great capture .. i did see a similar structured display on the Flensburg cam earlier on and wondered whether it would make the trip, the glow was visible from Birmingham but nothing captured
  17. Just looking for Noctilucent clouds on German/ Austrian web cams, and came across this I was in two minds about which forum to post
  18. Still pushing through as well, one due imminently. I think this was the cell that produced the sferics from earlier
  19. Some photogenic cells passing through our area this afternoon
