  1. Still sefrics from the small cells now entering the channel, Cmon intensify !!
  2. your looking at the wrong cell, i mean near SW coast heading N/NE , heading for hampshire dorset area
  3. Check the area of NW tip of france http://meteox.com/h.aspx?r=&jaar=-3&soort=satradar, i think this is what Torro are looking at but i could be wrong.
  4. Couple of cells just off the border of "brest" keep an eye on them, Sun is out again and temps are rising. i have a funny suspicion that this is area of intensification.
  5. a rather dissapointing outcome tbh, i think the MCS really changed things as most parts were supposed to have hot and sunny day, but we are left with light showers, mostly cloudy, with humid/sticky tempuratures. What a waste of "Cape" we need this high cloud to clear.
  6. i have my eye on the cells just leaving NW edge of the bay of biscay, just ahead of the trough moving N/NE
  7. some cells building in the channel moving N/NE keep an eye out.
  8. looks quite thundery again, my main area im looking at is the northern tip of france.
  9. Finally the high level cloud is beginning to clear, i can start seeing instability again.
  10. Slight dissapointment with this yet again, was hoping for severe storms like the 1990's all i can see with this is thundery rain.
  11. i definately feel that this high base cirrus is stopping convection, sky's dont look thundery they just look miserable.
  12. i was going to ask the same question, i guess i means maximum tempurature ?
  13. also to note the area of percipitation is now on a more NE route, hopefull as it hits the warmer airmass it will build into storms, but unfortunately as we have this high level cr@p i think i will limit convection.
  14. looks like this hih outflow cirrus has zapped up all the energy, storms are decreasing
  15. Beginning to see high cirrus clouds, showing instability from the SW, there must be alot of available energy today, i have high hopes that everyone in the south/southeast will see spectacular storms today. also going thundery, the air smells ELECTRIC
  16. i would stick to the south coast looking at the latest Met Radar, there is more convection builing behind this MCS in the channel which would move into bournemouth and brighton area.
  17. high haze to the SW in tidworh, must be the outflow of the area of storms towards plymouth, turning sticky and humid.
  18. looking good guys, looks like the channel is not killing off storms as normally. Could this area of percipitation be elevated?
  19. looks like they are heading N/NE then by midafternoon and Southern Counties will get some "humdingers" which will slowly move North
  20. Wow the stuff in the channel has really exploded watch out Exeter and plymouth
  21. yep they are really kicking off now with a NE direction over southern counteries
  22. wow it's intensified as it's leaving the N France shore. SWWWEET
  23. http://www.euclid.org/realtime.html check the latest lightning activity, just entering the channel, lets hope this happens,
