  1. I see some woke up from their summer hibernation a few weeks ago, then went back into hibernation again for the next while when the weather got warmer lol.

I wish the weather would cool down and we got more normal autumn temps, will just have to grin and bear it for now.

Shhh, I'm sleeping here! Back to my dreams of snow 10ft high :)

  2. Its like summer in here!!! Dead!! Winter hasn't even started and you are all giving up already!Posted Image  I reckon something really interesting is going to happen in the next couple of weeks and reckon over the next week the models will start picking up on this! Well i am hoping they do so that our little Irish thread livens up a bit!Posted Image

I read every few hours for updates but don't have much insight myself. Seems it only really livens up in here when its about 72 hours for a chance to snow or get really cold :D

  4. I understand how our heating bills are so high.... the bloody thing is never off here :-  It's on about 4 hours everyday atleast, for drying clothes and stuff - even in the summer, then in winter probably around 8 hours or more a day. I never turn it on myself and am glad I do not pay the bills. I'm out for walks most days and don't really feel the cold yet and if I do I just throw a blanket over me.

  5. What a miserable day for my 40th birthday!!

Thankfully a large bottle of my favourite Whisky Highland Park has been given as a present by my lovely wife so I can drown my sorrows in style!

Shouldn't be long now till you get the weather you like. I personally have been really warm the last few days, all the windows open and all ohmy.png Maybe its just me.

  6. I've just been in hospital with pnuemonia for a week, as much as I love snow I really don't want to go back there so I could do with something warmer for now till I'm better :( It's still painful to lie down and move around but I think I'm recovering, should be up and about soon I hope!

  7. Looks like we got incoming on the Antrim coast! I wonder if it will gain strength crossing the Irish Sea?

Been building an igloo in the front garden but might be a bit ambitious. No shortage of snow though!

Also took a drive up the Colin Road and it was mental. Got Some photo's will upload later. Big Snow drifts up there.

Would love to see that igloo blum.gif Sounds like fun, however I've seen a few videos of how to do it and how long it would take and I just don't think I could stay outside in the snow that long, a couple of snowmen is about all I can manage before I'm frozen to bits.

  8. once again green with envy .. and lack of snow ..

Green with envy... With the lack of power. I'm freezing lol. Lights flickered back on twice in last hour so hopefully it wont be too long now. My phone's running out too.. Glad I'm on unlimited data plan. Never hadto use it this much for entertainment :o
