Catastrophic storm destroyed 90 to 100% of agricultural land in 1200Ha, vineyards, orchards, fields, everything is destroyed, the damage is large 12 million Euro!
Over the past ten years, this area was hit four times and each time the damage was great, what happened is indescribable 11.7.2011 largest storm which people will remember in these areas...
Slovenia is the most stormy country in Europe, its territory is contiguous to two different climates: cold alpine climate and the warm sub-Mediterranean climate, which leads to a severe storm in the summer, the fall rains and heavy floods and severe winters with heavy snowfall and low temperatures! The most varied climate in Europe has definitely Slovenia, although it is great only slightly more than 20 000 km2!
Slovenian region's Å tajerska and Prekmurje the northeast of the country and are increasingly popular destination in Europe for hunters on the storm (in this area appear supercells, multicells, shelf clouds, Funnel clouds, extremely big hail, tornadoes,...)! Slovenia is very beautiful in natural light but also the most dangerous country to live in Europe!
