    The windchill is something else today...had to psyche myself up to walk in it! Feel confident of snow in Birmingham later today

    We should remember not much was forecast today so this is a bonus - also we did have a heavy shower it settled readily, a longer shower or a few in succession would certainly settle. This pic is uni of bham after a heavy shower about 30 mins ago

    Definitely seems negative tonight, I can understand that though based on some of the forecasts. Here in Harborne, west Birmingham we've had 8 hours snow now and 6cm accumulation. Still snowing. Agree with Gord that we need a further pivot to avoid the dry spot though. On a positive note, there wasn't much to distract me from an 8-0 England win!

    Big flakes in harborne Birmingham, handily a car parked outside my house just before it started and it was clear of snow so that will make a nice gauge of snow depth. Ps glad a few non villa fans appeared this was like a villa forum earlier!

    All radars have stopped at 2215! Overworked maybe? Now I'm having to get up instead of a quick look at my phone! What's everyone's guess for the end of the snow in west brum! I need to sleep!

    Just been out where I live In harborne Birmingham and we are up to 20cm in total! And still it falls!
