  1. By the looks of things us here in the south of NW England will get some snow before that front even clears through. These heavy showers are relentless, and as soon as the colder air AHEAD of the front passes over, evaporative cooling is going to be working overtime to ensure that these showers turn readily to snow. I think this is win win for us in the south of NW England. Let's hope the Irish Sea can keep churning out these showers. We should actually see activity INCREASE for a time as 850 values drop by another 2-3 degrees. Interesting times.

    HotCuppa, any thoughts?

    Would be nice if this happened. :)
