    Woke to a dusting this morning(and I mean a dusting!)

    Possibily as much as an inch in Tilehurst this morning although Reading town center and surrouning areas not so much. Beautiful scene to wake up to. Also you will be pleased to hear that my 15 months old is a snow lover by all accounts! This was his first experience of it and I could not drag him away from the window ans he stared and pointed. Bless him.

    Best of luck buddy, I think you will defo need it! I have been a smoker for about 12 yrs too and the thought of giving up is a hard one even those I dont enjoy it anymore(well enjoy the odd one) and it costs a fortune. So best of luck and keep up updated cos you might spurn me on to give it a crack aswell.

    Just been speaking to my mum and she confirmed big storm in Reading for well over an hour, and still going strong. Very very dark here in Slough and the rain just stared to fall, odd flash of lightning and rumble of thunder.

    Heavy storm from about 5.15am, lasting about an hour, with loud deep thunder and bright frequent lightning then another two cells gone through during the morning.

    Small storm passed over Reading at about 12.30-12.45 this morning.

    Storm in Slough, Berkshire as I left work at 5.30pm this evening with some good lightning and good crackling thunder. Shame i was driving away from it really :lol: Post any reports here :lol:

    Glad you had such a nice time! The thought of taking my nipper away on holiday scares me somewhat but hearing good stories form people is bringing me arounf somewhat ! p.s Dont make habit of being in pools during storms!

    Half hearted storm this morning at about 1.45am. Reasonable lightning but at long intervals and long deep thunder but on the quite side !
