  1. Brechiner here - the South Esk could be a major problem. The flooding last November, when the river got to 3.5m, a record by about 40cm, was at least in part caused by some of the flood defence pumps not coming on, but the forecast up until midday Friday shows about 30 hours of heavy rain…. If the river gets to 4m all bets are off, as the main flood wall will be overtopped. Fingers crossed for all living down by the river that it’s not as bad as expected.
  2. Well over an inch of rain in the last hour here in Brechin. 10.4C as well…
  3. 23/18 Dews here in Angus - will be an interesting few hours in front of the cold front - a decent sea breeze coming in from the South with low tide at Montrose at half-1, all to play for
