Also the amount of Emergency messages you get out here on your phone, even through our TV are insane. Scares the bejesus out of you first time you get one, but a great system. -

What an insane 10 hours or so. We’re in a Villa in Davenport which is near Kissimmee. Started getting extremely wet and windy from 7.30pm last night, and is still going, at 8am this morning. Incredibly glad that I’ve experienced a hurricane (cat 2), but wouldn’t wish it on anyone. No let up in storm force winds in the duration, and the rain, never seen the amount fall in 24 hours. Also sounded at times like a tornado was outside, just an absolute brutal experience. Luckily the electric and villa is in one piece. Flight home tomorrow is cancelled, but being rescheduled for Saturday or Sunday. Glad that’s over. -
