Morning all. Wet and cold here this morning.........My poor snowmen are slowly losing their battle to live........their faces keep falling off and one of them is leaning at a very delicate angle!!........Will they survive.....??.........Have a good day ....

Just had the biggest and heaviest snow shower here..............so grabbed my coat and the kids and went for a walk..........started turnung everything white..........lovely while it lasted.........

Morning all......had a slight dusting overnight......but has since melted............blue skies and sunny start but now clouded over.....heard those dreaded words on the forecast this morning "wintry mix".........Still, hoping for something white later.....................

Hope everyone has enjoyed their day......I wasn't sure what to do today......leave "my" snow alone so it stays nice and pretty, (I hate messy snow) or make a snowman so the snow would last longer but ruin it............so when the sun came out and it started to melt I decided to make a snowman (in the front garden in the shade) Once finished I made 3 balls rolled them around to the back garden onto the patio..........only thing is my neighbour caught me and asked me what I was doing to which I replied "Moving all my snow to the back garden to put it in the shade so it won't melt"!!........She must of thought I was bonkers!!....So at the end of today I have two snowmen one in a messy but sunny front garden and one in the back garden where the snow looks "pretty" and untouched !!..........See there was method in my madness and hope fully my snowmen will last a few days.............

Morning one and all on this snowy day here in Ninfield! Was up at 4.30 this morning seeing OH off too work......he had trouble getting his van off the drive.....along with some choice words a shovel and 20 minutes later he managed it...........not heard from him since so hopefully he made it to Hailsham.........tried to go back to sleep then the texts come through from the schools......why my kids schools never let you know the night before.........So I'm one of the lucky ones off to enjoy a snow day..........Have a good day everyone.....

Been great seeing today unfold............snowing all day, sometimes heavy but not settling on paths or roads......... about 3.30ish car frozen, moderate to heavy non stop snow and settling everywhere........bitter wind blowing it around..........hope the children have a snow day tomorrow........sledges at the ready.......

Hi everyone!.....hope all the "mums" have had a lovely relaxing day being spoilt and surrouned by their families!!...Been bit of a grey drizzly day here.......Seems very cold out there now.............Just love it when this forum "springs" into life........you can't help yourself from keep popping back and having a sneaky peak!!!........I've been on and off all afternoon!!!

Well it looks like the rollercoaster ride is coming to an end.....Boo!!.... It was an exhusting ride and had me excited on many occasion but turned out to be a great let down ...........Still I expect we will all be queueing up to get on it again come November!!.......I hate all this in between stuff that is yet to come.........Here's hoping for a long, hot, sandy, sea and " sexy " summer!! ..........I will be looking out for the post of "Coast" in his "trunks" again!!!!!................ It's grey, dull and cold today............YUK!!

I don't mind this much at all, better than grey, damp and drizzle which is what this would be if not so cold.
I'm with you on that..........much better than damp and drizzly......just wish this easterly turned out better for "snow days"!!

When I got up this morning I was hoping for a little dusting.............so I decided to polish the furniture!!......(sorry, that's the best I could do!!)...................been cold, grey and 'flurrying' here for the last few days....very disappointing..............

It's stopped in Mid-Sussex now and that might be it - for the current timescale....
Hi Coast, still snowing very lightly here........very hit and miss....some big flakes then snizzle......one minute it's heavier than the next....what did settle hs now melted......still doesn't stop me from having a sneaky look out the window...............must go and get some work done.......have a good day!!
