Same here John! All talk about se! What about my area tonight, think I am borderline!

Well feels like months since I have posted in here and that's probably has something to do with the awfull gloomy weather of late! Looking in on the model discussions there up and down with plenty if arguing about potent cold spell and an end to winter! Well I have had one proper snow day so far this winter and I haven't seen it drop below -2. So given where i live and past experiences of winters past I dont believe for one moment it's over! Something's stirring, just wait and see! I have absolutely no clue about models and jets etc etc but I do know what winters are like near me! The past two years have started very early but the norm starts mid jan into feb!

Well that's was a very short lived light snow shower but that will be the very small cluster on the rain today radar! Look at the bigger blob between 10.15 and 11.45

Just looked at rain today pal, it has some purple/red heading our way and it hits at 10.15

That's what I read after someone Posted the link in an earlier post. It doesn't mention high ground so maybe there just playing safe just in case but I expect that anything after 6am will be rain! Which is strange considering my current temp of -2.5c

My current temp is -2c Dew point -2c Humidity 98%

Just looked at all the forecasts for overnight, none mention any wintry stuff! All going with rain yet on meto it mentions heavy snow! Now am confused, anyone explain?

If the models were to be believed this weekend it would be 5c where I am and rain all weekend! Instead buckets of snow and top temp 2.5c

Well it's 2c here now! Just been out and side roads aren't the best! No wind so cann see the snow on the ground freezing and anything we get over night falling as snow!

Forecast showers overnight and heavy rain first thing, wonder if this could fall as snow would be bedlam Monday morning traffic!

Surprised when I got back home today, left southport and it was 6c! Sunny and dry! Got home and it was 0.5 driving in a 4x4 was even a test and been out with kids on sledge! Top fun, it's not melted and not sure what forecast is for tonight?

Well the snows not melting, reckon any rain forecast tonight will fall as snow again!
