well after looking at hotel prices its looking like Manchester will be a miss! Birmingham was nice and central for all of us i think so how a bout the £47 travelodge where we stayed last time? 1st March rooms are £47 now! do something similar like last year? thoughts on a postcard!

How does this sound? Manchester is easy to get to. Train is popular! Start night and meet everyone at waxy O'Connors. I can sort an area out for us to meet inside! Few beers in there. Then on to deansgate for food at red hot world buffet, it's ace. Again needed numbers so I can book a table! From here we are on deansgate! Plenty of bars and pubs. One next door to food called slug and lettuce! Sarah needs her pornstar martini fix! Eventually work our way up to revolution de Cuba. Bar/club thing on until 3am ! Across the road to the casino! Robert is your mothers brother! Thoughts? 1st March looks good for me

good Morning all! i hope we are all well! Part of the annual calendar for me includes the Following: 1. Pre-Chase Meet up 2. Chasing! 3. Post Chase BBQ 4.Xmas Curry Now, i haven't been to all of them but numbers 1 & 2 would be my favorite choices and it does break up the year and takes me away from my usual grind! Ian Cameron normally takes the reigns on this one but he cannot commit to it this year so...................I don't mind looking, arranging, organizing things in order for us to meet up for a good old chin wag and a shandy! Birmingham night out was ace! cheap digs, casino, easy to get to for most. good beer and a little dance! Now if anyone wants to do the same then lets do it! if not, we could visit Liverpool if you really really wanted to OR Manchester..i know you guys went before myself and Sarah were part of the club and you basically stayed in the Printworks...this time we could go outside and we could show you some nice watering holes! if anyone is interested, please post here and we can get an idea of how many people would turn up and start the ball rolling! cheers guy Gee

I am sure that if we all want to meet up, (which i am pretty sure everyone does want to meet) someone else can arrange a meeting point! Trains from Euston to Scouse ville is only 2hr 7 mins, not exactly a 3 day epic! can we get a show of hands on who would meet up in March? Shall i Start a new thread?

I just wanted to create this thread as I am, like many others becoming concerned whether chasing in 2014 is actually going to happen at all! The lack of information on both Netweather and the Weather Holidays website does not fill us with much confidence that anything is happening as both sites still showing 2013's Tour Dates. Talking to others on Facebook and whatnot, also confirms emails have been going unanswered and also stories of numerous people dropping out over the last few weeks. So just what is happening? My own story is probably like a most others, I booked myself and Sarah as did the now famous John finney, on the last day of the early bird off whilst out in the plains chasing. I was told we would be contacted about what tour we would be on, that was in May of this year, since then absolutely zero contact, so with not even knowing what trip we are going on we cannot even start to look at flights and time is ticking by. I am hoping things can get sorted in the next few days/weeks and actual dates will get released/updated on the sites. Sorry for the rant but I feel this needs to get sorted out this side of Xmas or it could be left until 2014 or without the confirmation of a Tour Date, a possible cancellation myself. Anyone else been in this situation?
