it definately seems to be moving more westwards again, seems to be blowing west on the easterly winds, this could be good!
Still light snow here.

The Metox radar looking v good for us, a more westerly component than the forecast anticipated.
Must hit us full on this rate cannot see how it will not.
Still heavey showers on and off.
Quite exciting this, brilliant idea these threads.

The latest radar is fantastic! The band is progressing northwest and intensifying. Just starting to affect the Birmingham area as well - my friend in Bromwich e-mailed me.
Also what's good, is that areas in Derby and Nottingham that saw thaw earlier now have re-settling of snow due to intensity and evaporative cooling!

Local forecast say for this side of the Pennines possibly 20-30cm and snow mainly staying to the east but could turn up anywhere.
thats more like it! lest move the region east!

Doesnt look so good now on the gfs for the nwesterly. Last run it showed a potential of a good dumping from midweek, now its showing almost the reverse
It hasnt snowed here for a while now. and sod's law its started to snow since i first made the post lolol

I think its hard to predict where its exact path is as I would like to say that We got more snow than predicted?
I think we should all be crossing fingers now and hoping we get a good dumping!

i was in Antalya Turkey yesterday and we had a HUGE thunderstorm i am wondering if there is anywhere i can get past satellite images and rainfall maybe lightning strikes etc?

Had a great long storm this afternoon which lasted well over an hour, with flash floods, hail, frequent forks of
lightening, and a few power cuts!! Ive just about re-set all my clocks!! hehe. No wonder the England team couldnt
land at Manchester airport!!
tell me about it i was in Hyde and i thought my car was hit!! very very scary conditions but loved every minute of it! lets hope we have some more on the way

netweather radar is ace! big green blob heading for my location! may intensify not too sure, this is defo a lesson to learn in forecasting, nothing is 100% EVER!
