No exaggeration but we've had close to 30cm fall this evening from around 6pm.Our street is under about a foot of snow.
Any idea what time it's all due to ease off because it's getting ridiculous now!!
How can you call a foot of snow ridiculous , IMBY i would call that STUNNING

I think it'll be rain for coastal areas unfortunately. We had a good 2 hours of heavy rain before the snow on Friday. This band of precipitation just isn't large enough to pull in low dew points from far afield or stay over us long enough for the transition. Hope I'm wrong!

Latest Fax is nothing like the UKMO model.
Joined this forum in 2004 which is when I started viewing the models and I have never seen this occur before. I have seen slight modification but never to this extent.
Still on a learning path here .

Very light snow here (dandruff type ) also very cold temp -1 by the car and also a very light Bitter breeze .
