Some really big gusts now!!

Think this is worse than Sunday, For here the higher gusts have been more frequent and for a longer period of time. Very rough out there and has been for a good couple of hours.

Ooooo things are falling over on the construction site opposite! bit of late drama, think I may stay up a little longer and see what develops.

To be fair it has ramped up here (wasn't difficult to ramp it up as it was more of a stiff breeze)
last 10 mins have been a little more exciting.

Nothing really happening at the moment here, just breezy. Maybe it's too early to say but did think this would be more interesting! obviously lots of places in the UK are seeing some stormy weather.

Not going to lie since I moved to the centre 2 years ago I sort of stopped loving snow as It never settled, In fact seen as the rent has been increased by £400 we are looking to move some where in the high peak, so Im sure that will change again.
But I am amazed to see actual snow in the centre part from 2010 I don't think I've seen it since.
Looks like as a regional event we have done pretty well!! woo

Getting a train from Lincoln tommorow afternoon to Manchester, a bit worried about the trains and really don't want a cancelled train on Christmas Eve!

Knew I should have booked another night at the lake district! stuck in the centre, was thinking to get a hotel somewhere but the trains looks rubbish.

Chilly today, perfect weather for a good walk. Nice in the sun! some sheltered spots are still iced up, been a perfect seasonal few days away. some brave ducks have left the little duck houses.

Off to Keswick next week to stay in a Log Cabin, think the log burner may get some use, really looking forward to it now it looks to be cold.
Been to see Hamilton, well recommended if anyone is thinking about it.

had some rain this morning but dried up most of mid morning, going a bit dark out. Wind isn't too bad at the moment more of a stiff breeze, It may all go a bit down hill from here.

Thats odd part of the rain shadow is getting filled in from the west (I think) really strange.

Yeah rain shadow still doing it's thing, some slightly heavier bursts but nothing much. Just in the amber warning but if this pattern continues i don't think it will be too bad here.

Crazy the difference just over the pennines, rain shadow doing it's magic here so far, wonder if that is due to buckle later with the amber warning starting from mid day.

More windy than the last "storm" the one we had a warning for.
Looks like Scotland are gonna be hit hard, Ireland looks bad enough.

Been very nice in Greece, 28 degrees pretty much evrey day since Sunday a little breezy but it's perfect.
Husband and I have been made very welcome.
