First rumble of thunder now heard.

told you i'll get hit hard by severe Thunderstorms now moving up from the south..looks like some more video footage to my collection of Thunderstorms.

massive cauliflower clouds with black bases to my south/southeast moving this way

i would look towards the south west around Cornwall for any Thunderstorms.South Ireland already getting.Thunderstorms now.

Just found this! Describes what I witnessed exactly.
This was a Thunderstorm i recorded on 27th may 1999 with the same forecast as we have today.
the storms started over the south west then into wales into nothern uk.

my accurate lightning detector just detected a strike 11 miles away

lovely warm sunshine here this may help them showers over Wales to become Thunderstorms when they reach here.

Really black to my west/south west now.

This was part of a Thunderstorm which i missed most of it as i work nights,but had a half hour break at 1.30am and filmed this with my mobile phone.
