When will this depressing cold , wet , snowy weather end and Spring start ?
I ask the question, but actually know the answer , my friends......
Spring will start the week I get a job, having been unemployed for the last 6 weeks.
-
Think we should enjoy any flakes we see from flurries dying out tonight as they will probably/could potentially be the very last ones of the season.
You dont know how much I wish that is true

No work , and this prolonging cold miserable weather.... happy days (not)
-
only very light snow here in Studley all morning.
Wifey gone to Telford today - Met office showing 'heavy snow' for mid-day today - hope thats wrong ?

Just watched the BBC local weather and it was showing snow for the Birmingham area from mid-morning.
(though she was sure it wouldnt settle at low ground anyway).
What are your thoughts .
Typical I may have to travel to Bham lunchtime I know it may not settle , but I get very anxious just driving in it.
-
So definitly no snow for us tomorrow at least ?
-
I shouldve predicted this about 2 weeks ago. Whenever I plan to travel out for a day / evening this time of year , some kind of snow / ice always appears.
Hurry up proper Spring for *** sake

Light snow now here in Redditch
Roads and paths are dry , so i think it will stick very easily.
-
Sky looks full of it already here.
Is this going to be one of those everybody scramble to get home days ?
-
Just hope the snow here doesnt start till the kids have got home from school. Unfortunatley its predicted for early afternoon.
Small plus point of being out of work right now - i dont have to worry about travelling !
-
Only very light flurries here today . Sky quite bright now.
Roads are fine. Side roads a bit slushy.
-
I think ice is likely to be the greater problem in the morning to be honest.
Bish
Thats cheery news - thanks . The one day I have to do the school run.

What are we expecting to see when we wake up here in Worcestershire - roads covered / schools closed ?

Mate of mine in Connecticut has just posted some pics on Facebook. 80cm of snow. You cannot see his car!!!!!. Cannot wait to show him the 2-5cm we are expecting. I bet he will wet himself with laughter.
Was out with a friend last night who has to fly back to New York on Monday. He lives in New England. Ouch

Just saw the shockingly atrocious presentation of the local forecast on Midlands Today! It was virtually incomprehensible.
I didnt see it, but let me guess the brief overview ...."covering all bases" (i.e. we havent got a clue , but keep paying me £30,000 a year thank you very much)

Very grey and misty sky here in Worcs. Looks like it could do anything - clear away or snow.
Hope weather improves into next week as the kids are off school.
