BFTV maybe i was bieng slightly flippant when saying 4.54 billion years I understand that the planet has gone under many geological and atmospherical changes (and forever will) but even from say 13000 years ago last ice age ish would you say that the climate has been stable on a global scale ? how is the ice sheet growth and decline a measure of climate change could you please point me in direction of referance if the the question is too large thanks ..

I am just a lurker on here trying to pick up bit's and bob's I am interested how the avarage's are calculated taking into account the length of time records have been kept, agianst the 4.54 billion year history of our naturaly dynamic planet .Surley records are just a blink of an eye on such time scales . I don't ask this as a inflammatory question but purley out of interest

I think you mean intuitive rather than logical, in which case I agree. Though obviously things in science are often counter-intuitive, which is why we must use data rather than intuition.
no i iam sure i mean logical
fact moon affects tides
fact earth 70%+ water
fact oceans affect global weather
using my head not my heart
-
cant say as i have ever realy linked the moon cycles to weather
thinking logicaly about it it makes perfect sense I think all would agree that the sea's pay a large part in our global weather
all would agree that the earth is 70% + water
the moons gravity gives us tides all that mass of water moving has got to influence the weather
i dont know what im getting at but just sharing my thoughts

Fair point well made K.100
could make for and against all night .Myself im just going to wait proof is in the pudding as they say

New user here , Now I dont post on here i just observe as I have next to no knowledge of weather forcasting
One thing i dont understand is why MB bothered to put out his forcast.
if this is the response I thought i would recieve whith trying to share something I wouldnt
why cant you just let whatever method MB uses prove or disprove itself befor the dissection
