light snow falling on a stiff breeze now,

The Kempston snow shield is up and still holding firm.

Well the Kempston storm sheild was in full effect, watched the cell heading my way survive from swindon past oxford and then fizzle out just before it hits kempston.

From out of nowhere I just heard a loud crack of thunder....it was either that or a very noisy lorry

Getting dark to the east of Bedford and had a few large drops of rain
Yep, it’s looking very tasty in that direction....unfortunately we're the wrong side of the convection!

BEDFORD 2 big storms went either side of me which were on course to hit, then a big one with lightning and everything coming from milton keynes just stopped and away into nothing seriously i hate this place it hasnt rained in over 9 days aswell! Are there supposed to be more storms in my area today or should i just shoot myself now
Dare i say it, there might be something for some of us on sunday/monday.
Unfortunately, until i sell my DSLR Bedford won't be getting any storms soon.

Looking at the radar it appears that all the energy and activity has been sucked northwards by the intensifying storm system in Lincs!
Yep, its looking very tasty up there, and intensifying!

It's gone very cloudy and overcast here, I'm not expecting much more for the rest of the day.
The Kempston/Bedford storm shield was working well today. deflecting storms north and south by only a few miles.
Looks like things could get quite interesting further north and east for the rest of the afternoon/evening?

Same saw a brilliant one in hitchin last year.Oh damn haha! Its starting to get dark over MK direction, heard a rumble

Haha im soooo shocked fingers crossed we get something though'! when was the last time you remeber a thunderstorm here i only remeber a few flashes at night on may 1st 2009
I think I've been elsewhere in the UK when we've had a direct hit. I bought a DSLR a few years back and that was the kiss of death!

The can never seem to get over the hill around us always skirts along the edge teasing us, Just like the snow in winter.
True joneseye but watch it vanish as it gets closer! the cape is supposed to peak over 1000 late afternoon maybe....
Just to add insult to injury, there's a nice 20 mile gap between the cell the past south and the cell's that look like passing north....time will tell.

The cell that was heading for the Bedford area now looks to be skirting east of my location. Those cells near oxford have pepped up a bit, hoping one of those will hit.

Its gone from blue sky to bubbly clouds in like 15 mins, That storm in buzzard is sooooo close
Can't see anything from my office window just yet....i can't see how that cell can miss us. Then again, i've been thinking that all year and got nothing.

Still nothing of significance, very light snow, and it's definitely easing up a little. Seems like a split on the radar on where the heaviest snow will fall.
