    Central-eastern MK. I've got snow out the front facing north, and rain in the back garden facing south. Bonkers! Can't make up it's mind what it wants to do.

    Been snowing in central-eastern Milton Keynes since about 9.15am and just had a text from the local Primary School to say they're closing today after lunch at 1.30pm. They NEVER close! Can't remember a time they've ever been shut. So that makes it a pretty memorable weather event in our house already.

    2.30pm and looks like we're all done in our part of Milton Keynes - was great to watch it falling whilst it lasted. Good luck for everyone who's waiting to see some of the white stuff.

    Still snowing nicely in Central Eastern MK. Not sticking to gritted roads as the flakes are fairly big and wet - but building up a little everywhere else.

    Lots of lovely big flakes in Central Eastern Milton Keynes (MK14). Wind has picked up and it's settlling quite nicely. We seem to have got this frontal snow a lot earlier than I expected. Been snowing on and off here since about 10.45am ish. Good luck to all the snow seekers out there!

    For all you fans of capturing the weather (and Mother Nature) digitally, I saw this NHS North West photo competition which is running in connection with the NHS North West Year of Health & Wellbeing. They don't appear to have had many entries, but there are some good prizes on offer - holiday, balloon experience etc. I'm not eligible to enter as 3 Counties so in the same region as MKSnowangel.
