    We've done alright. Shame all of the inconsiderate parents are now parking all over my street to pick their children up from school early, thus ruining the cover a bit.It's just started snowing lightly again now.

    It's still snowing outside. 11 hours and a bit without a long pause now. Off to bed, once again I've given myself less than 4 hours sleep, praying we get something like the GFS!

    Can't complain though, earlier on I didn't expect to be saying that we've had over 9 hours straight of snow tonight. Let's hope we do well tomorrow with the main band, fingers crossed!

    I'm refusing to get enthusiastic about anything as whenever I do, I watch everything fade and die. If I refuse to believe anything will fall, then maybe I won't be quite as disappointed when it doesn't.

    Been lightly snowing for a good while now here in Wigan. Not sticking, just making the ground. I suppose it is our first snow of the winter though, more than we got in the whole of 2012.

    sick of this already!! I suppose if we see some extreme weather at the weekend (storms) it could be better but at the moment i don't think i can cope until late february/december 2011 All in all we have only had one proper snowfall day, quite dissapointing being honest as we had the coldest december in 100 years!! No signs at all from the GFS either, this could be the mildest start to a year ever!! Hopefully we will see a big change in tomorrows models, i doubt it though

    the band of precipitation is probably less than 20 minutes away now. We will see soon, i hope it falls as snow, even if it doesnt stay around for long Lancashire Lass beat me to it

    i remember someone saying if you add them up and they make less than 0, precipitation will fall as snow.
