i think it will downgrade here in nw kent, the iossc site says max 56mph gusts on sunday night
will need to look at pressure charts to see if i am right
-
cold here down to -1.7at the moment
sky clear
-
hi amanda
just looking at the charts there is nothing for you to worry about all the bad stuff stays well away from us,
do the other bods on here agree with me on this
-
could do, all other windstorms have, what you have to renember that the 87 storm was a once in lifetime event it will probably never be repeated. so dont worry to much as you are inland the windspeeds are going be considerably less. most the high speeds are out at sea and on the coasts.

hi everyone
i am looking at several sources and the winspeed on the 8th will be blowy but nothing like the october storms that was a sting jet which correct me if i am wrong we are not seeing at the moment i mean that has windspeeds at over a 100mph which is what caused it
-
amanda just to add again, windspeeds predictions have ben downscaled so nothing to wory about
-
hi amanda
your are looking at 50mph gusts max so its not too bad about the same as all the other storms this year so at bit blowy really

-

i just seems to be too warm for winter hence all the rain that we are getting what does the forum think...?

here is a question, during the 70's and 80's we used have terrible thunderstorms here i mean some of them use to last for hours but recently we have not had a bad thunderstorm is there any reason why ?
