Started as rain then went to sleet back to rain and now its snowing. Lightly but think it's the start before the heavy stuff

hello fellow scottish weather peeps!
clouding over after a frosty morning hoping for some snow tonight but not expecting much
weather for the week ahead.... cold and sunny!
, only downside is scraping the car every morning take care everyone!

i dont know whats happend here.... i though this snow was ment to happen this morning not now?

should i be more worried for the wind or the rain affecting my area?
currently its calm and dry getting ready for tonight's storm
an other question is i see the low is heading up towards Iceland. what are they affects with frank?

Only 3 SPFL games went ahead today can't remember a game at Celtic Park been called off due to weather.. I recall late 90s part of the roof was loose that was last time.
John Barnes was manager and Inverness were on there way and came was called off..
yeah your right i know that was the last time a game got postponed but that was due to high winds, i never knew a game at parkhead to be called off due to sheer amount of rain. its unheard especially with the drainage and sheer class of the stadium. going through a other squall wind is battering the window and rain is sideways!

rain has been non stop since last night! roads are crazy flooded! does anyone know and maybe the folk from west lothian know has the almond bust it banks somewhere the burn outside me is proper overflooding!

been shocked with the amount of snow has fell here in west lothian. was expecting sleet but not full heavy snow!
im finding it hard to understand the charts for when it snow so if someone who has more brains than me lol can tell whats the forcast for snow wise and cold in my location

cant help but feel this is been over hyped up all we had is one shower and that was just a spit of rain thats about it
hopefully this will ramp up tonight but to be honest i cant see it happening

Here at my work in stilring still hot but skys are hazy and the wind is picked up a bit what does tell me these storms are coming big big time now

wow. Don't think I've ever seen a level 2 for storms in Scotland !!
what does level 2 means? and that is slap bang over my neck of the woods!
