Is the aticle referring to 'the' Michael Fish?! Is he a storm chaser?

Wonderful, thanks for the info guys.
It sounds as though you have a great time on yuor trips, regardless of how many tornadoes you find.

Hi Ben, welcome to the Storm Chasing forum
The £1500 for the tour will get you accommodation and travel when in the states, along with the wealth of knowledge from the team to get you as close to the storms as possible You will need to book your own flights which can range from £400-£550 depending on when you book and weather you want direct flights. You will also need proper storm chasing insurance, this is roughly £80 for 12 days but can save a bit if you don't include luggage cover etc. Lastly it's spending money for food and drink. It's relatively cheap to eat out there and a budget of $50 a day is probably more than enough.
I guess ball park figure for one tour is roughly £2200 all in providing you've already got camera/camcorder kit
Don't forget to put this aside every year after your first tour because you WILL be back
Thanks for the advice Smokes.
Do people generally meet in the UK before departing for the US (catch the same flight)? Or do people make their own way there? I asume the flight destination is Dallas?
Cheers
Ben

Hi Guys,
Apologies in advance if the following questions have been answered already, I've had a look through various threads but now require a little assistance as I can't find the answers.
I'm after a little information regarding the Chase Tours that you guys arrange each season.
I've noticed that the prices are around the £1550 mark for 10-11 days chase (?), but i'm a little unsure as to what this covers and what additional costs may be required by the individual.
I am VERY interested in participating in a Chase Tour sometime in the not so distant future. My circumstances mean that i can't commit this year (my wedding in May in bleeding me dry and I could be out of a job if my employer doesn't win work asap) but would love to be in a postion to attend next season.
If anyone can provide me with a (very rough fag packet) breakdown of costs for a average trip i'd be very grateful. This will help me budget for the future.
Thanks
Regards
Ben

Also been looking forward to this from Sean.
I'd be surprised if this made it to the UK Cinema's. Here's hoping though!

Hi all,
Newbie here. Just thought i'd say hi. Apologies for hijacking this thread, couldn't think of a better place to do this!
I was unaware of this forum within Netweather.TV so I fee completely 'out of the loop'. Not surprising to me though, IT and I don't get on!! Still, glad i'm here now and looking forward to many an interesting conversation, etc.
Thanks
Ben

Fantastic! I've heard his name before on these boards but assumed (wrongly) it was a different Michael Fish.
Good on him, I hope he has a great time with you guys. Wish I could be going!!! If it wasn't for my pending wedding and precarious situation at work i'd be booking my place on a tour right now.
