  1. Regarding some frontal interest for the South on Sunday, the Arome has this take on things...
  2. This ECM regarding Sunday washout or battleground further South is colder in the 850`s on this run. Still illustrates my South of the Humber comment earlier but better. Next couple of days before Sunday is nailed on.
  3. It hard not to see a very damp couple of days early next week South of the Humber.
  4. People may want to go back and read John H`s post, That is not the ECM`s fault, it is a little bit of a concensus
  5. At the minute, it`s looking like a form horse. It`s the 18th maybe battleground of any interest for the rest of the week.
  6. Dec 2010. Mean temperatures that month were 5 °C below the 1971-2000 average. The lowest minimum of that month was -21.3C at Altnaharra on the 2nd, followed by a day maximum temperature of only -14.0C! The lowest maximum of the month, -15.8C, was also recorded at Altnaharra, on the 22nd.
  7. More than dubious Nick but for now a model output. It`s Monday and preferred option is too mild 850`s and surface cold so at least something to model watch this week. 10cm in NW Essex this morning btw.
  8. For fun the ECM 12z snow chart accumulation for Sunday before a wash away...
  9. lol quite... Just trying to picture the possible scenario of a battleground which there are snow charts posted. For now I suppose it`s a 2 eyes emoji thing.
  10. Think it was Crewe Cold that wanted a Scandi high, there you go way out in FI...
  11. ECM has changed it`s tune a tad not phasing the secondary low completely with the Icelandic LP, for now... @Mike Poole snap.
  12. Mike, there is some oomph around the 19th looking at the jet but nothing much before then. Horrible NW cliche, next day or 2 crucial in model runs.
