Well thats 4 months of my life i wont get back... and all to show for it is a couple of sugar dustings... way back in October the up coming winter held so much promise.. background signals the way things were looking we were in for one hell of a winter, what have we had? a total borefest... yes some magical output for the end of December and into Jan... never really worked out apart from a few dustings... then the 1947 feb was setting up and the models were at one stage showing us it could happen but again another fail... what have we learned from this?? probably nothing....will we come back in another 6 months yes for sure we will... see you all again in October when we start this crazy thing called winter again....guys and girls give it up its over finished...
I agree for once this sums it's up.

Not what I'd call an 'inspiring' run, that...Sort of back to square one, or square two or even square three. Models and pros are all struggling to see the way forward, I think?
Interesting though!
From square one we will be watching all 64 models.

Rain in Derby now not much to say.

Will or won't we get snow winter Will go pearshaped like last winter always pearshaped mark my word pearshaped. But with 2.5 months left who knows. Have the the uk gov got the man power to face it again. No they have not with all the cuts. I mean if we get a winter like 2010 again.

I think winter will go pearshaped like last winter mild and cold. Not banking on it yet. You never know what computers do.

If the 06z verifies the best of winter will once again be lost. January has been a disappointing month for 20 years now
As my original post I said pearshaped winter again.

Just going from what's happened in the past, gut feeling really. Been burned too many times. I hope that it's right but any thing past 5 days is still FI for me.
Anything after 120 hours is F1 to me.

It's A WEEK away though.. surely we all know by now that it's unlikely to verify?! It's great to see but I really can't see it happening to be honest.. sorry
I think it will not happen as a week a away models chop and change each run.

With nearly 33% of winter gone is it over yet. You never know what the person who created the weather can do. But hI will have a way to pan out our winter weather.
-
Love to see models from Sweden if they had them LOL would be good to see.

Christmas week forecast
Will it be cold, will it snow, will it be mild, will it rain, will it be dry.
Will there be floods, will there be blizzards,so many questions
That know one has answers too,not even the models it would seem..
Best just open your curtains each morning and see what the weather
Is doing
C.S
You don't know what the the person who created the weather can do but he does what he wants.

I think what the models are saying it's going to me a mid winter again like last year. Nit banking on it yet but that's what is going to happen.

By end of December the tones will be ringing winters over most likely.

Mild winter for a change? Where the hell have you been for the last few years? Not the UK I take it.
No been in the Uk for the past 3 years.

We might get winter rain and stormy again like last year. But a friend of mine says by end of Dec winter could be over by looking at the stars in the sky.
