  1. In the past week overall we have had 15cm's of snow, about 15 snow showers, and 5 snow days. On tuesday night last week we recored 3 inches, and on thursday night we saw another inch. They were the best days, but we saw dustings everyday last week.
  2. Greater Manchester has two inches currently, my brother works there and rang me to tell me about the snow  .
  3. 3 hours of constant light snow now stopped here, but the next band isn't far from me now. And reports are of very heavy snow for the band over cumbria and machester. 15:15 Radar: http://weatheronline.co.uk/daten/radar/uku...71bfe55&LANG=en
  4. We had heavy snow about 20 minutes ago, and constant light snow for the last hour or so, but only settled in the heavier burst. 0.9C. Still lightly snowing.
  5. Just had a light sleet shower, didn't last long, but promising as snow showers are expected overnight. Currently 2.1C and dropping.
  6. Currently overcast with light rain and N'ly wind. Current Temp. 3.9C Windchill Factor 3.2C
  7. We have had snow for a shocking 15 hours non-stop now, but the 5cm's left last night is slowly thawing in the wetter snow showers, but im hoping any around for 4pm onwards, should start to fall properly as snow again.
  8. snowing now for 4 hours, with good covering now, looking at 00:30 radar heavier bursts are just north of me .
  9. Heavy snow with massive flakes again. Been falling for 2 and a half hours with whiteout conditions now, with the showers stalling over me, looks like it could be falling for hours to come.
  10. Still snowing (now two hours) and total whiteout, it keeps switching heavy to light, but the PPN isn't moving, and im sat right underneath it! Look: http://weatheronline.co.uk/daten/radar/mid...16ca3c7&LANG=en (im lincoln)
  11. Heavy snow been falling for just over an hour now, with a good covering, with 4cm's on grass, and still loads to come from showers, before the main band even hits!
  12. Snow flakes been blowing around in windy overcast skies for about an hour now, hoping for something more soon.
  13. We had around two inches this morning, and had another topup before dinner. Sadly afternoon light showers have melted most, but still a few cm's on grass and some concrete, paths.
  14. total whiteout 10 miles west of lincoln. excellent!
