Suddenly going very dark with approaching cloud from South Bristol area. Looks thundery and has gone very still outside, but on radar the rainfall seems to be becoming less intense as it gets closer. It looks as if the more active heavy showers are drifting eastwards further south between Bath and Weymouth. Think i'll be getting a splash of rain and nothing else again.

Its been raining lightly for past 20 mins, but nothing significant. Think its the remenants of what passed through Devon earlier.

Looks like its dying out before it reaches my area as usual! Areas south of bristol seem to be getting a fair bit. I just got dark cloud but nothing else.

Very dark cloud slowly approaching from the southwest now...but no rain/thunder or anything as of yet.

Anyone know if the Bristol area is likely to see any storms? I know the mass of rain to the southwest is approaching but seems to gradually weaken as it leaves Devon/approaches Somerset.

Its quite suddenly gone so still outside. Been windy all day and its literally just died down in the past 10 minutes? The rain radar seems to show our area is in the path of the rainfall currently moving from wiltshire, not sure if it'll die out before it reaches here though.

Nasty looking dark cloud drifitng over Bristol now, but it hasn't rained or anything yet and looks like it might just pass over and stay dry. May develop into something as it drifts inland maybe?

Breezy and fresher but still warm in the sun. Many cumulus clouds have been building up and passing over all day but so far, not amounting to anything and carry on travelling North.

Is a shame! Was predicted to get proper rash of storms coming up from France tonight, but turned out to be persistent heavy rain and nothing else! Predicted to get isoloated heavy showers here later in the day today but not really any thunderstorms as it's meant to cool down again gradually from today...ah well...hopefully some ttime in near future we will get another chance

What first looked like a cell forming has now gone dark, grey and overcast here with very heavy rain. Nothing more exciting though.
