Not a technical opinion in anyway, but i think we will switch between the right and wrong side of marginal throughout the evening. The temp still seems to be falling. I think the early hours will suit us better and if we get very lucky we may see an inch or two, but i would'nt put money on it. -
Yes it appears to have gone to light sleet/drizzle here just 6 miles north of Spalding centre (heading back a bit more towards snow as i type). I'm going to go the other way though Sparky, i think we miss more than enough here so i'm hoping we do well.

Currently raining (lightly) down here in spalding, our weather station is reading a temp of 1.8, so i guess some of the other factors are against us (as usual) at the moment.

Your all doing quie well, here in Spalding we get the usual heavy rain, did have some sleet but just rain now. We also did'nt fair that well during the main snow events during January, is this because we are near the wash (as the crow flies) or our lack of height asl?

Stopped snowing here near Spalding. Had 2-3 inches, pretty good for here. picture from kitchen window taken at about 8am.

Spalding Lincolnshire is just having its first snow shower. Now snowing quite heavy (flakes not very big). Sky has totally greyed over gone quite dark, almost looks like winter. Does'nt look like settling yet, but at least were seeing some snow which nowadays is a minor miracle for Spalding. -

Been snowing here since about 8am, its hardly settled. Very dissapointing though not unusual for this part of Lincolnshire. -
Been snowing lightly here in Spalding for the past hour. Wet snow though and not laying.

Yet another none event for Spalding Lincs. All the maps/radars seem to suggest we will have snow but as always the snow failed to arrive.
