    Weve had 2 days of monsoon like shower activity but no thunder.

    Third storm of the day now underway, some very impressive lightning on Reigate Hill (Surrey) during the second. Still extremely humid.

    Storm has finished in Reigate, lasted about 15 minutes, one very loud hit otherwise slightly disappointing to be honest.

    OK daytime has been replaced with night. Thunder and lightning in Reigate.

    I finally hear some distant rumbles (Reigate Surrey)and its going very dark with a strong breeze picking up and as I type the first proper thunder overhead.

    Just watching Wimbledon and there was a massive rumble of thunder half way through the point and the players just stopped.

    Nothing so far in Reigate,Surrey. So near but so far.

    Hoping for a storm this afternoon here in Reigate, Surrey after yesterdays none event. Got to say the GFS favours East/West Sussex and anywhere East on a line from Kent to East Anglia as the main areas likely for some activity. http://www.meteociel.fr/modeles/gfs/precipitations/6h.htm GFS yesterday was spot on with the storm focus last night in Far North West of France near Lille and Belgium and predicting little to hit the South East of the UK.
