Afternoon all, a late start this morning as I'll be working later. Meanwhile a mild night with the low of 11.0°C at: 00:03, currently 12.4°C, RH 92%, with a gusty breeze in from the SW, and a band of light rain approaches.
From Above
On Golden sands...same old, same old..
We are almost there, so can I ask if you leave something out for me tonight, please make it a little different to milk and biscuits. Thanks
And remember, I know who's been naughty or nice on this forum.

Her feet aren't firmly under the table yet. She's cleaned the dining room table, chairs, emptied the dishwasher and complained that we have too many Christmas cards on our wall. She's given us all our presents and wanted us to open them. She's complained that we aren't watching Paddington and that the kids are watching gruffalo. She is scared of snakes even fake ones ... And is behind her hand not looking at the screen.
Still room for more me thinks

I remember my nan would always say "if there is enough blue sky in the morning to make an elephant a pair of trousers it will be a dry day". Find myself looking for blue sky now . It has been dry so far but very windy and definitely a chill in the wind too.

Blowing a right hoolie here. We have to travel to Marlborough this morning for sons orthodontist appointment. Really not looking forward to it at all. One of my squirrels is trying to climb the bird feeder but keeps getting whipped in the face by his tail

OK, so let's sort these out 1 by 1:
1) We live in the Southern half of the Uk, where under the current regime of CC, our area will have to learn about warm winters and hot summers.
2) A device that is used by the responsible person in the family to mow the (typically) green ground covering, also of a brown nature in the peak of summer. With CC, it would be wise to ditch that for pebbles or some tough ground covering to mitigate the lack of frequent rainfall, and plant cactus. Also of use is the planting of Aloe vera, which can be applied to the cuts and bruises applied to your other half for his apparent laziness to feed the chooks, as the lawn has died completely, so he'll be Mr Chookmeiser in the new regime. I am led to believe that travel agencies will be organising trips to Antarctica, for people still keen to photograph "Ice & Snow" as Scotland will no longer provide such an event.
That really made laugh !!!!!

I can't imagine how those poor people are feeling , other than thanking their lucky stars that they weren't hurt or worse . Still things can be replaced, life is precious.
