  1. This is starting to look potentially very dangerous for Northern parts of the UK below the Central belt of Scotland.
  2. Has anyone else read the Met Offices updated forecast for today? North West England & North Wales are the only Regions which it says there will be Storm Force Winds, this Storm is obviously tracking much further south than previously thought!!!
  3. Yes I would be inclinded to agree with that in principal however, I do believe 70 MPH gust will be seen quite widely as far south as Wrexham.
  4. I'd still put my money on the central belt and far North of England being worse affected, purely down to the eventual track of the storm being over Northern Scotland.
  5. I was actually thinking that to myself also this evening, I still believe the eventual track will be further south than is currently being anticipated by either the GFS or FAX Models.
  6. Don't forget with the Great Storm of 1987 it only rapidly deepened right at the last minute before crashing into the South of England, nothing is certain with these Storms until it actually arrives. Plus with this Storm still having alot of Tropical Moisture associated with it even at this late stage there is time for there to be a rapid strenghening.
  7. Thank you very much for the welcome loopydreamer! I used to post quite alot on UK WeatherWorld under the same Username but at the moment this forum seems alot more active and intresting!! :-)
