    I wouldn't hold your breath there!!!! For the past three years here in Kent we have had total cloud cover...I really should go to the bookies and put money on it - it's the one night of the year guaranteed to be completely miserable

    Brief storm in SE Kent this morning, but torrential rain, several roads flooded.

    Slight snow shower in Dover, only lasted about 5 mins though. Sky getting very grey again, but hey, at least it did snow and right here on the coast!

    Heavy rain and thunder in south east Kent (Dover) from 1730 until 1845 hail, lots of pink and blue lightning, and there is probably more on the way........

    just started raining in dover, kent, huge bank of clouds slowly rotating over the channel, but can't see anything else from our house, anyone else out there who can see and has a camera?

    Very nasty storm just passed over the Dover Straits, swirling clouds, but couldn't see anything happening, should be very impressive over Margate and Canterbury, get your cameras out boys!

    Infrequent distant rumbles here in Dover, woke me up at 7am. Not very intense though....(still got the kids up and the cats in though!)
